Are you worrying about your first kiss. How do you make sure that it’s something you’ll both remember, rather than a nightmare you want to forget? Well, while most of it happens naturally, here are 8 pointers to make your kisses irresistible!

1. Fresh breath
Don’t even think about kissing anyone unless you have made sure that your breath is fresh. If you’ve eaten recently, make sure you have gum or a mint to freshen yourself up. However, make sure that you don’t kiss with anything in your mouth, as this can make it feel very awkward.

2. Soft lips
If your lips are cracked and dry, they wont feel nice to kiss. Try using lipbalm regularly, and lick your lips to make them a little moist just before, as this will make the kiss easier. Trust me, if your lips are too dry, they will hurt the other person!

3. Positioning
If you haven’t kissed anyone before, this can be one of the most worrying things. Stand close to your partner, and see which way they are tilting their head. Tilt yours the opposite, and start the kiss very gently. Nose clashing etc. can actually be very funny, but make sure you’ve had a decent kiss first!

4. Open your lips
But only slightly. Let the kiss develop itself, don’t force it.

5. Breathe
Holding your breath tends to lead to gasping and spluttering, and this is never attractive! Breathe through your nose, gently, and concentrate on enjoying the kiss rather then holding your breath.

6. Use your hands
Stroke his face, run your fingers through her hair… do something sensual and loving with your hands, and make the kiss a whole body experience! It’s amazing what difference this will make.

7. Don’t push too hard
Putting too much pressure on your partner will make the kiss unenjoyable, and might even hurt them.
